I was watching the Food Network on Wednesday and I seen the last part of a show that was making party favors from sugar. Does anyone know what the show was and who the lady was that was doing them? Thanks in advance. icon_biggrin.gif

Go to their website and check the tv listings for that day at about the time you were watching and you should be able to find the show and hopefully the instructions for the favors you are looking for.

It was on Sugar Rush, and the title of the episode was "Weddings". I just watched that a little while ago, thank goodness for TIVO. LOL

I saw that show too - they look so pretty! I would imagine it's like making those panoramic eggs, but I'm not sure how to do it.

Sugarcraft has the directions for panoramic eggs....I suppose you can buy a box mold or just use a box....if the above link doesn't take you to the right page, they have it under "Holidays" and then "Easter" and then "make your own".

It doesn't sound too difficult to do.....I loved them!

I saw the rerun. Thought the boxes were darling! As much time, care and artistry as she puts into those favors...I'm guessing she has very wealthy customers. Can you imagine how much each one of those lil suckers must cost???

Did ya'll see the winning cake in the wedding cake contest? I know it took lots of skill, but did not look like anything even remotely kin to food. It looked like a soup tureen to me or made a fancy casserole dish. Guess I'm to country to appreciate stuff the finer things. icon_wink.gif Seriously, there were some beautiful cakes in the contest, but they focused on the "unique" cakes. Most brides really don't want a cake that looks like a soup tureen and I wish they had shown more of the other cakes.

Neat show, but the host is soooo dry. They should replace him.
