Has anyone decorated cookies that have been dipped or coated in chocolate? Seems like I saw one in the photo gallery but can't find it again. Wondering if they decorate it with royal and if they have any problems withthe royal sticking to the chocolate, also how do you get that nice smooth finish with the chocolate before adding the decoration?

I have decorated cookies that have the back/sides coated in chocolate, but not decorated on the chocolate itself. Does sound like fun to try though.

You can use royal, or another color chocolate. I've used the chocolate, just with real smiple decorating. There shouldn't be a problem with royal sticking to the chocolate, although i haven't done cookies this way, i have done chocolates and decorated them with royal.
