This is the first cake for one of my husband's employees' birthday. It's my first purse cake and I had a few problems, but it came out alright.

Lemon Orange Sour Cream Cake, filled & iced with Lemon Cream Cheese icing, covered in pink Cream Cheese Fondant. Edible pearls and Chocolate Plastique accents.

I think you did a very good job for it being your first.... Did you paint the bunny on?

I took the 8 inch Wilton hexagon pan, cut it in half from point to point, filled it and covered it in frosting. Let it set up and than covered it in fondant.

I have a dumb question. What is cream cheese flavoring?

I remember when you posted about this cake when the girl requested it. You'll have to let us know if she like it. What about the boy's cake? Wasn't it a fist or something?

I remember your original post, too. I'm sure she'll be thrilled with this, it's fantastic!

I'm finishing the Fist of Rock cake today. I've been struggling to mold the fist of rock out of purely white chocolate so RICE KRISPIES TO THE RESCUE!!!

Wow, that is adorable! I really want to try and attempt this.
Does the cheesecake flavor cut down on the sweetness? We like the MMF but it's so so sweet, I've been trying different flavorings and haven't found one we "love" yet.
Thanks!

I haven't tested it to see if it cuts down on the sweetness, but I doubt it. icon_sad.gif I was going to make some other fondant recipe but I ran out of time.
