My first cake that doesn't suck rocks! I'm so proud. Yes, it's the standard cake that everyone must do, but I finally felt like I had learned something in these past few lessons and I was able to apply it without much thought. Just started coming natural.

I've been bitten by the bug! Off to go buy some pants on Ebay with elastic to make room for the residual effects of this hobby.

Wow, good for you kiddo, terrific decorating, love the sides too! Heehee, thought at first you meant to say you were off to buy pans, but re-read and understood, haha!

Thanks so much, All! I really appreciate it. I know it's the cake everyone has to make and there isn't much to it but for me there was. I battle Fibromyalgia along with a few other things so my hands were KILLING me by the end of this cake, baking it that is. I just kept pushing and it ended up making me proud. Now if only my 2 year old hadn't taken a swipe at the clowns when I got home, I probably could have brought it over for Thanksgiving. LOL!
