Well the current KA that I have I believe is 300 or 350 watts with a either a 4 or 5 quart capacity bowl .. the Delonghi is 900 watts and a 7 quart capacity bowl. It also will automatically adjust the speed if your mixing bread dough or MMF to keep the speed consistent throughout your mixing ... I hope it's as good as they make them sound! lol

ntertayneme-

Congrats on the new mixer. I also have a Delonghi 7Q and it is awesome. I have a couple of KA's also but the Delonghi is far superior IMO. You are going to love it!

congrats on the new mixer..icon_smile.gif

does anyone have a Jenn-Aire mixer or know if they are worth the money? i like the style...but style dosen't matter if it breaks after a week. I desperately need a new mixer, i inherited my MIL's antique sunbeam mixer, so far so good...but i think it's on it's last beater. icon_sad.gif .

I got it off of eBay ... I kept watching and watching .. this same seller puts them on w/no reserve which means it usually starts off at $.99... of course you never win anything at that cost lol .. however, I feel I got a good deal on it .. they normally sell for about $469 and I got mine for $300... pricey, yes, but I made my first batch of MMF on Friday and it had absolutely on problems at all mixing it .. it has an auto speed adjustment to keep the mixing speed consistent at all times .. it mixed right through the MMF and never slowed whatsoever... it's great!! I love it!! icon_biggrin.gif
