I made this cake for Thanksgiving. The chocolate icing looks black in the pictures.....I promise it wasn't! icon_rolleyes.gif The other cake is one I made for my boyfriend's grandmother's birthday. Tell me what you think....I'm still learning... icon_lol.gif

Good job! I really like your writting! Did you carve the turkey cake shape? I haven't seen a pan like that. Happy Thanksgiving!

I could be wrong, but Wilton has one like this on their site that I have wanted to make for a long time. The tail is the shell pan (discountinued) and the body is a snowman pan. (I know it was in the yearbooks in the early 2000s. Not sure if it is still a current pan.)

Thanks everyone! Yes, I did get the idea from the Wilton site! Except I did not use the snowman or shell pan. I just used two circle pans for the pumpkin (belly) and carved the hat, wings, and neck from a sheet pan. Thanks for the comments/encouragement! icon_lol.gif
