Do you guys usually make a double batch of No Fails in your 6qt KA? I just did, and man...that bowl is full! I had to cover the bowl with a towel to keep the dough in the bowl! I was so excited about finally being able to make a double batch, but I'm wondering now if the mixer can handle it? Does it mix the ingredients well if you do thi? Anyone here do this on a regular basis? Thanks!

I don't b/c I have 2 bowls for the KA. NFSC is like a double batch of cookies already, so I don't mess with it.

How did they turn out?

Well, not too well. I didn't think about how large the double batch would actually be until I had all of the butter and sugar creamed. I ended up mixing it as well as I could in the KA, and dumping it out on my fondant rolling mat and mixing it the rest of the way by hand. Hopefully they won't be tough!
