icon_rolleyes.gif helllooo....just wondering if anyone here knows a great recipe for a white wedding cake made from scratch, not cake mix. also, a icing and fondant recipe that is not tooooooo sweet!! icon_eek.gif i made some fondant yesterday and it was a total disastor! It was way to sweet,and it just did not look smooth at all, especially when i applied it on the cake.. HELP ME PLEASE!! ahhh!! icon_cry.gif

Check under recipes... and fondant to me is always wayyy sweet, I don't eat it, always peel it off the top and just enjoy the buttercream and filling underneath.

Have you tried the marshmallow fondant.. I love it and I didnt find it too sweet.. It was so easy to make and easy to work with .. It is in the recipes on here.. I don't have a cake recipe , I usually use the recipes I found on Earlenes sites. They are with cake mixes but with added sour cream, more eggs and flavourings and they turn out great and everyone thinks they are homemade cakes.
