Sweet Bread Prices?

I have someone wanting me to make them some banana bread. I have never before sold any and don't know what price to ask per loaf. With nuts and without...

Anyone have any suggestions? It is much appreciated!!!!

I would suggest that you figure out how much it takes you to make one loaf. Included all ingredients, packaging etc. Then tack on the appropiate profits. YOu dont want it too much over what they would pay for it over the grocery store and u don't want it so low that you are not making much. Check out what they sell if for @ The grocery/bakery. This way they dont feel ripped off.

I agree with Cake_Princess. Check out the local bakeries and compare that to your total cost of goods.

I normally charge $10.00 a loaf of bread. I make it quite a bit during the holidays with my catering business.
