Here's the wedding cake that went with the rubik's cube groom's cake I already posted... Between the Rolie Polie Olie cake disaster Friday, and the wedding cakes (and attending the wedding) yesterday, I'm STILL tired. I didn't get home from the wedding until 2am!

Thanks to everyone for all your support and encouragement the last few days... I'm just glad this weekend is almost over and I can go back to my regular JOB! icon_lol.gif

Thank you! I was really worried about it, because I couldn't seem to get the IMBC smooth (only my second time using it) but thankfully the shells covered a multitude of sins icon_redface.gif

Just gorgeous! The live fish as a topper is fantastic--it's a very elegant cake, but still lighthearted--well done!

Your cake is beautiful, especially the color and the little bubbles on it. The live fish topper, so original.

Thank you everyone! I was a little afraid of using the live fish - but since it was my idea I figured I'd better pull it off! icon_lol.gif

sofiasmami: Thank you. The rolie polie olie was supposed to be a cake in his shape, not just with him on top. That's why it was a disaster... but it worked out in the end, and the mom was happy icon_smile.gif

cakefanatic: The shells are all white chocolate. I shook them in a plastic baggie with "silk white" luster dust, because the bride didn't want a really pearlized look. The little pearls, though, were shaken with super pearl dust.

Thanks again to everyone for your nice comments!

a trip to the spa sounds NICE! I'm leaving tomorrow to spend a week with my grandparents, which is almost as good (they still spoil me rotten icon_redface.gif )

dodi: I got all the molds at my local cake supply store... sorry I can't be more help.
