Hi everybody! Ok, Im beginning to start on my Christmas cake, so Ive started with the cake topper. I worked on it all last night, Im excited to show my husband, he looks at it and says he does not like it!!! I really do appreciate his honesty, but I want your guys opinions, maybe its a guy thing, because I like it, I think? So, please let me know what you think and any improvements that could be made. Did you ask him what it was about it that he didn't like? My son will do that to me but when he sees the finished product, he likes it.

"I don't like it" isn't terribly useful. Ask him what specifically it is he doesn't like about it. Colour? Size? The jogging of bad school pageant memories from years ago? What?

I see nothing wrong with the figure, it's rather charming in fact. You ought to be quite pleased with that little decoration. Pay no attention to Mr Cranky-pants.

Mr Cranky pants, that is funny stuff!! I used gumpaste to make it and took awhile to do. I dont think my husband meant any harm, but now I cant shake the feeling that maybe it is not my best work. Like you guys said maybe once it all comes together, it will look its best! I tend to be a perfectionist, which HIGHLY annoying!!! I appreciate your feedback!
