I found a church to give free kitchen space for the first kitchen of my business (after hundreds of phone calls I got VERY lucky!). But I can't work on weekends or at night and I need more room for wedding cakes, so I'm looking into renting space from an established kitchen. The going rate is $1000-$2000 per month plus equipment costs! If I have to buy equipment anyway, I'm almost wondering if it's cheaper to rent a retail space of my own (without a storefront). Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

I would think you probably could find a place to rent cheaper, but having all the necessary supplies/equipment would be extra .. I guess it would depend totally on what your business is like and whether or not you would come out expense wise icon_smile.gif good luck with your endeavor!

Hi I myself leave in houston, tx but the pricing you are mentioning are very expensive. I will suggest to rent the equipments from Ace kitchen supplier on a monthly basis. Good luck. icon_smile.gif
