I just put a cake in the oven with half Duncan Hines White Cake Mix and half Betty Crocker White Cake Mix. Do you think this will work? I wouldn't have done this but it was all I had in the house and I really didn't want to drag my two year old back out to the store. Hopefully it will work. Thanks.

See no reason why it would'nt. Basically the same mix just different manufactures. White cake is white cake. I hope. Good Luck.

I have mixed yellow cake brands with no problems...so I'm guessing you'll be just fine!!

According to the Cake Doctor and others those mixes are different. I think pilsbury and betty crocker come with pudding mixed in the mixes and duncan hines doesn't and so on. I have baked them together with no problem. But I don't think they are the same. Now I'm no expert but that is what I have read.
