Looking for pictures or ideas of COW cakes for a birthday party. I would prefer not to do a standard sheet cake. Any Ideas??? Thanks

there are some really cute ones in the cake gallery (none of them mine) - under 3-d animals.

there was one on the wilton site that was really cute ...it was similar to the one ceculsk did but instead of 3d mold cows she cut out the cow from fondant and layered it to give a 3d effect so to speak.....you know 1st the hind legs then the front then the face on that ....it was too cute....

those are great freddie .....i especially like the second one ....every year I get a cow cake order for a girl who in nuts about cows.....my 1st one was a cow toy, the second was the wilton animal crackers turned cow just like in the book....


So i love to look at differnt cow cakes just in case.

My daughter loves cows, she wanted a cow cake so heres what I did... She loved it. She also wanted the inside blood red!!! She's sick. I did it though.

You could also mold them out of fondant and do a barnyard scene. I have seen some cute photos where the stand up house was used for the barn. I also love the one that uses the 2 rounds. Actually...all the ideas I have seen so far are really cute. Good luck. icon_smile.gif

Thanks gotcake, I got the idea from a Wilton cupcake design, I just did a 9" layer instead and embellished it a lot!
