Can anyone please help me out, I saw this recipe on CC and was wondering, what do i do with the mixture after a take it from the stove.

Do i have to put it on a board or some thing.

I would like to make like little cookie figures out of it if that is posible.

I really don't know that much about dulce de leche. I tried to make it once and it ended up with a milky type syrup on top. So I am not really sure if I did it correctly or not. If I did, i don't think that you would be able to make figures or not.
