Hello,

I am new to this forum. My daughter's b'day is on the 25th(good friday). I have promised to make a barbie cake for her.
1)Will MM fondant be good for it?

2) can I used apricot preserve or butter cream as a crumb coat. If it's buttercream how thick should it be?

3) I am from south east asia and our place is very humid. do I have to use Meringue powder for Butter cream??????

4) Can I decorate the cake day before birthday( at night)?
I asked this question as I am using MM fondant the first time. icon_confused.gif

I can answer question #4- yes you could decorate it the night before, just make sure to cover it when you are done.

Yes that is what you use when your doing Fondant. Butter cream you want about a crumb coat just something to hold it on with or a bit more.. But not thick..

I would say NO but I am not sure.. all that is in it is Marshmallows and powder sugar so I dont know why that would go flat.... I do know that when you make cooked Marshmellow if it humid it will flop
