Is it possible to put an edible image (printed from a CANON printer onto Kopykake Icing Sheets) on top of a chocolate iced cake (where the icing is chocolate (brown) buttercream)?

Does anyone have any pictures of them doing this?
Will the pictures show up good?
Should I print the pictures with a dark background?

Help Anyone!!!!

The images will absorb/show whatever color is behind them. I've done this before though by frosting the back of the image with white BC and then putting it on the chocolate iced cake.

Another option is to attach your image to fondant, with a little piping gel and then lay that on top of the chocolate icing and trim with a little border to hide the edge of the fondant!
