I made a pratice cake last nite. raspberry and strawberry filling mixed into my 100% crisco filling also added butter and vanilla extract to filling. I took a medium slice to work today, I rec'd so many compliments on the cake ( spoon full sample, they said the after taste was really good) , one lady actually paid me to make her a cake tonite

Lemon cake and raspberry filling is very good together. I've made this numerous times. In fact I have the supplies in my kitchen now.

Congratulations on your order! I may be a bit confused on your technique and am curious...are you mixing the raspberry and lemon together to form one filling? Or are you putting raspberry filling in one layer and lemon filling in another layer for one cake? Sorry for the silly question!!!
