I want to venture into cookies ~ everyone's cookies I see on here are WONDERFUL and it looks like to much fun.

Seeing as I only have some "basic" cookie cutters I placed a couple cookie cutter orders this morning while waiting out the bad roads before heading off to work icon_surprised.gif

My DH is going to go bonkers when he starts seeing packages arrive as I have TONS of cake baking/decorating stuff, he is always teasing me that I put the cart before the horse icon_lol.gif How many other beginning cookie decorators just buy up everything before they have ventured into actually doing cookies? I have always been this way with any hobby that I've approached icon_eek.gif I just need to have it if I'm going to try it!

I just started making cookies too! I really like it....almost easier than decorating cakes because there are no crumbs to deal with in your icing. icon_lol.gif

Hi Mouse ~ I remember alot of your posts when I was delving into cake decorating.
Was it you or am I thinking of someone else who's son always brings home critters??

Anyway, cookies are a big hit in my house. My son is almost 5 and is my helper in the kitchen, this would be so much fun to do together, plus the cookies I see on here are works of art ~ I Love them!!

icon_lol.gif I think that is tcturtleshell's son who does that. Mine likes to put rocks in his pockets that he finds at school.
