Beautiful cakes....I just also am a newcomer to decorating. I started this past March, and I can certainly appreciate your enthusiasm and new-found addiction to cake decorating. If you are doing this level of a cake now, I am excited to see where it will go in one year!! I, myself, keep pushing forward and I like to find a challenge for the next project. I am still learning from my mistakes, but the results keep getting better and better as time and practice go on!! Your gumpaste work is amazing!! Keep us updated on your work!! Ellen

I love the old pans. I found one on ebay that I had made for my daughter over 14 years ago. I told her I was going to make it for her 16th. It's the dolly cake.

icon_smile.gif I like your cakes.. it is very "clean" and well presented. Good choice of colors. You don't need sunglasses to look at it !!! Very nice and looks kind of professional, considering that you have not been doing this for a very long time...keep doing it.. icon_smile.gifthumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gif

You do a wonderful job!!! They are beautiful! For a beginner..........I would have never guessed!!!!
I have never taken any Wilton cake classes. I took an adult education course at the local high school that a sweet older lady taught just for fun.....7 classes. I just fell in love with the process! Is there a way to find local Wilton classes?
