Are you sure you just started decorating in June? They look AMAZING!! I would have never guessed you were a beginner. Keep up the great work!!
Beautiful cakes....I just also am a newcomer to decorating. I started this past March, and I can certainly appreciate your enthusiasm and new-found addiction to cake decorating. If you are doing this level of a cake now, I am excited to see where it will go in one year!! I, myself, keep pushing forward and I like to find a challenge for the next project. I am still learning from my mistakes, but the results keep getting better and better as time and practice go on!! Your gumpaste work is amazing!! Keep us updated on your work!! Ellen
I love the old pans. I found one on ebay that I had made for my daughter over 14 years ago. I told her I was going to make it for her 16th. It's the dolly cake.
wow! you guys are quick w/ your replies!
Thanks for the encouragement & kind words...I'm one of those that does better with visual instructions...the gumpaste class was alot of fun...but a lot of work! I've bought a few of the tools and plan to keep practicing...

I like your cakes.. it is very "clean" and well presented. Good choice of colors. You don't need sunglasses to look at it !!! Very nice and looks kind of professional, considering that you have not been doing this for a very long time...keep doing it..
You are doing great work...pat yourself on the back! I too am new, I have only been doing this since mid September but I love it! Keep up the good work.
Your cakes are great, Tanya, and your gumpaste bouquet is beautiful!! I can't believe you've only been doing this since June. Me too!!! I started with an old 3d bear pan that my mother used for my first birthday cake!
I think your cakes are gorgeous!
I do love your gumpaste flowers, that is something I still have yet to try.

I think it's cute that you are from"Sugarland TX" keep that in mind when you start your business.
Cakes are great..where did you take the GUMPASTE course?
You do a wonderful job!!! They are beautiful! For a beginner..........I would have never guessed!!!!
I have never taken any Wilton cake classes. I took an adult education course at the local high school that a sweet older lady taught just for fun.....7 classes. I just fell in love with the process! Is there a way to find local Wilton classes?
