sarahscakes made an amazing fender guitar. I received a request for a cake just like that and am wondering how she managed to get the body and the arm part out of only a half sheet pan. Any details or where I would go to get a pattern to use for a cutting guide would be so very much appreciated.

Thanks you.

How do you PM someone? (I feel so computer illiterate right now.)

I did one back in April. I used a 13x9 for the body and the mini loaf pan for the arm. As far as a pattern, I googled a bunch of guitars and printed out pictures. I think used those as a guide to draw out the shape. icon_smile.gif

Thanks for the tips. I did a google and printed a picture. I had a friend enlarge the body for me. Now I am going to just wing the rest. I think it will turn out all right. Maybe I should make a last minute trip to the store for some silver thingies. Maybe I can just make them with MMF and silver luster dust...Hmm...I will give it a try.

Thank you again.
