Does anybody have a nice chocolate crumb crust recipe for a cheesecake base?

I don't have a recipe for this specifically...but, I have made a chocolate crust using the same recipe for graham cracker crust. I just substituted chocolate graham crackers, can also be done with OREO cookies. HTH!

How ya doing peanut2?

Here is what I use:

1&1/2 c. chocolate cookie crumbs {7.5 oz}
6 TB butter
3 TB white sugar
1/4 ts. cinnamon

I put everything is a bowl and pop it in the microwave for about 1 minute and mix with a fork!

not sure if you still need this, but...

I make chocolate crusts for my mini cheesecakes all the time. I use a combination of Chocolate wafers (I can't remember what brand, but they are like round, flat, dark brown cookies in the cookie aisle) and oreos. Put them in the food precessor until a good consistency and then add some melted butter. It is WONDERFUL!
