Some of the cakes I see on this site are photographed so beautifully - any tips? Usually I try to take on at the site, or I use my orange wall in my living room - but I would love to hear what some of you guys do....

I have a black cooktop that I put my cakes on and they seem to stand out a little more. I know some people on here gather material up and put it behind the cake. It looks very nice and professional! HTH!
