Help with chocolate MMF

Made chocolate MMF last night. It turned out really dry. Taste good but nothing like the texture of regualr MMF. Is there a way to save this? Suggestions on what I may have done wrong. I replaced one cup of sugar with one cup of cocoa powder.

It would seem like the cocoa would make it drier. I've not gotten the chance to use MMF yet.

Have you tried adding a little more liquid to it?

You can also try adding a Tablespoon of crisco to it. Just work it in until the MMF feels like it's at the correct texture. When I make Chocolate MMF. I add 1/4 cup of cocoa powder and 1 T. crisco. If I want it even chocolatier then I add another 1/4 cup of cocoa powder. I don't reduce the sugar at all. I don't use melted chocolate bars because I can't control the amount of oil that goes into my recipe that way. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks Misdawn, I did add more crisco but it is still very dry. I will try to add more to see if that will work. The recipe I had called for 1 cup cocoa, guess I need to ditch that recipe.
