Those are sooo cute
Not to be rude, but are you able to make those monkeys and things just like that? If your talents are that good, then that is WORTH something!
If I were to do in fondant a 10in and a 6 in in fondant with extra decoration I would charge $130.
That feels like a lot, but why do we charge less for non wedding cakes? The talent and work is the same.....
Figure out (1) materials (I loosely figure around $30) (some people suggest to multiply by 3, but that doesn't take into account all the extras you are doing on the cake and I have felt that undervalues the amount of work and talent that goes into the cakes!) (2) how many hours will that take you and what is your time worth? Don't you think you deserve AT LEAST 20-30 an hour since you are so talented! (3) add em together, there is your price. Now my $130 is seeming pretty darn reasonable!

Ditto. I don't have a seperate price list for Wedding cakes. I have prices listed for Tiered Cakes, Weather they are wedding or for a birthday party I find I put the same amount of time into them.
These are actually 2 quite different cakes -
The colored monkeys are a short 1 or 2 layer cake, and the brown monkeys are a tall 4 or 5 layer per tier topsyturvy cake...
Yes, I'm aware of that. I was just wanting prices for each. She isn't sure what size she would need.. TIA!
