..do you by any chance do edible images? If no, something similar could be done with FBCT. I did a baby driving a fire engine (both parents are in the FD and dad is the Captain)...it was for a girl but could be changed to a boy!!

I'm actually making a tiered fireman themed cake next week for a 3 yr. old. My idea was to have it covered in plain fondant and make little figures out of fondant to place all over the cake:

I was going to make a little boy in full gear holding a fire hose on the top and letting that fire hose be the actual "border" to the cake...in other words let it spiral around the whole cake.

For a baby shower, maybe you can use the "hose" to make sort of like a moses basket and put a little baby in it.

I am also going to sculpt a fire hydrant, an axe, a couple of dalmations....I think you get the picture.....

How about a baby crawling out of a upside down fire helmet or sitting in a boot. Or a baby sleeping in an upside down helmet( like a cradle) Or a dalmation peering in on a baby sleeping. icon_rolleyes.gif Just some thoughts. Good luck! Sounds fun.

can you sculpt cakes? If you can, maybe you could do a fire hydrant, with a baby playing in a "pool" of water around it- make the pool of water out of blue piping gel. or if you do a tiered cake, you could have ladders going up the tiers and maybe put a sleeping baby on the top tier, use colors like red and yellow.

How about a 3D firehat with babies crawling on it? I know you have done a couple of 3D cowboy hats and the directions for a firehat are right here.

Or if you have a teddy bear pan you can do something like this bear pictured.

you could put ladders connecting the tiers with either a baby on the ladder or at top of ladder
