Oh my gosh, that cake is great! I would be worried sick about how I would get it from that cake stand to my cake though. Been having a tough time transporting cake lately. Nice job!
Ok here is the finished cake! I was pretty proud of this one and the everyone loved it! It is nice to hear people say nice things about your work! Most people did not think the teapot was really a cake. 
The lady it was made for took the teapot home with her!!

cakecre8tor, where did you get the idea for this cake? I really like it. Can you tell me what cake sizes you used to make this? Might have to make one like this! I can think of at least a dozen places where this would be the perfect cake to bring.

I had to make this for a welcome and the theme was Tea & Thee - and they wanted pink roses so I asked folks on cc for ideas and "mommykicksbutt" said to do a teapot!! So I made a sample over the weekend and like how it turned out so I did another teapot for this cake. it is a full sheet cake 12X18 pan X2 and the teapot is just the sport ball pan with MMF accents. The roses on the teapot are royal icing and the other roses are buttercream. It was really fun to do!
