I'm having DD 1st birthday this weekend. I did a practice round with BCT for her 1/2 sheet cake last weekend and it came out ok (learned NOT to do the fine detail until after its transfered)....Anyway's rambeling, not the point, I haven't even thought about her smoosh cake...How do I do a smaller round smoosh cake? I've only got 9 inch round pans. Do they sell smaller pans?
I have heard you can bake in tuna cans or soup cans. I have not tried it but maybe somebody else will give you the details. Good luck!
Check out this thread if you want to pursue the tuna can option:

I have done many smash cakes with even a 6 in. round...which can also be purchased at Walmart.
Michaels has a line of small pans now. They had them for the last year. They come in pkgs. The rounds are 4in (I think.. maybe 3in) and there are like 2 or 3 in a pkg for like $3.99. They also have mini baking loaf pans, bundt pans, but everything is miniature. There are 2 50% off coupons in the sales paper this weekend.
Just another idea.
