I'm having DD 1st birthday this weekend. I did a practice round with BCT for her 1/2 sheet cake last weekend and it came out ok (learned NOT to do the fine detail until after icon_confused.gif its transfered)....Anyway's rambeling, not the point, I haven't even thought about her smoosh cake...How do I do a smaller round smoosh cake? I've only got 9 inch round pans. Do they sell smaller pans?

I have heard you can bake in tuna cans or soup cans. I have not tried it but maybe somebody else will give you the details. Good luck!

I've seen round pans as small as 4".

Hope that helps!

Check out this thread if you want to pursue the tuna can option:

Michaels has a line of small pans now. They had them for the last year. They come in pkgs. The rounds are 4in (I think.. maybe 3in) and there are like 2 or 3 in a pkg for like $3.99. They also have mini baking loaf pans, bundt pans, but everything is miniature. There are 2 50% off coupons in the sales paper this weekend.

Just another idea.
