I used gonache for the first time last week and the recipe on here calls for semi sweet( I used bitter sweet never again ) and whippin cream and butter. I thought ganache was something more but it just seems like melted chocolate. It turned out great and although the bittersweet wasnt good I used it as a drizzle over sweet icing so it was fine. Got a tip on the cake. Good Luck!!
