Anyone Else Forget To Take Pictures?

I can't tell you how many times I forget to take photos of my cakes - how awful is that?
What's worse, I am trying to put up my website - and now I need to make cakes and decorate them for NO reason - just to get pictures for the site.
I get so crazed (especially wedding cakes) that I forget - how sad!
Sometimes my brides are nice enough to send me a photo...but not always...
Anyone else tend to forget the camera?
(One time I had the camera [around my neck!] - set up the cake, piped in some extra stuff on-site, and left! No pic!) Sad, sad, sad.....lol
Yes! I am with you there! I once did a three tier 1st birthday cake and forgot to take a picture of it!!!!
It really looked great too!
Oh well, I keep telling my self!
My sister and I made a 3 tier wedding cake that was so incredibly beautiful. I didn't remember to bring my camera (she lives in Fort Smith, AR and I am in Oklahoma City) and she had given hers to our brother to use while he was in Iraq. So we finally got copies of the wedding cake pictures that were taken at the reception. None of them were close up - all kind of blurry. Can't put that one in my portfolio! And it was a $500.00 cake!
yes!! i havent gotten to the web site stuff yet(cant figure it out to be honest ) i do have a binder that has oodles of pics but it seems that the best cakes i forget to take a pic of!! i made a woody from Toy Story and it was perfect!! hat and all when it left the house i realized.. no picture!! the mom said she had a copy of one that i could have but still havent seen it >> oh well, i did it once i can do it again!! right??
I know!
My BEST 2 cakes ever - i forgot the camera. I was so mad. Maybe the reason we forget to take pics of some of our best works is b/c we are so insanely crazed getting every little detail taken care of that it just escapes us to remember the camera. I guess its better then forgetting something else (like the cake stand or something!)
Been there, done that too. Or thought that I could count on someone's word that they would provide a picture, big mistake, they rarely ever do. Sometimes I am so tired that I just can't get the energy to bother to take a picture and when I do, it usually isn't a good picture because I am too tired to set it up well for background and such. But it is important to try to always take pictures, I have finally learned, haha! Because otherwise, you don't have anything but the memory.
