WHAT!!?? noooo, i just find michaels very expensive and I can't find cake toppers and stuff like they have on this site..

anyone know of any other companies out there with this kind of stuff that preferably gives you a shipping price for canada and are reasonable priced?

Cake Fairy,

Do you buy from Ebay? If so they have great deals on cake decorating stuff and the shipping prices can be obtained by emailing the seller or they have it listed in their auction!! I've bought tons this way.I find the websites charge a huge amount for shipping to Canada,One site stated a flat fee of $40.00 and I live just over the border..1 state/province away so you know who is taking advantage or who!!

Canadian here! Try www.goldaskitchen.com, they have alot of Wilton product but other stuff as well. This is actually the link on the Wilton website in the on-line store to order product. I never have ordered from here, but shipping should be more reasonable. I work at Michaels as a Wilton instructor so I get a discount.

For online ordering, you can try Golda's Kitchen, they're in Mississauga, ON.
http://www.goldaskitchen.com/wilton.ihtml
Priced in Canuck bucks, delivery charges are reasonable (I think...) and no delays and extra customs/duty charges at the border.

Also check out Bulk Barn if you have one in your area, better prices than Michaels (who charge a fair chunk more than the US prices, even AFTER conversion.) Example: 20" Wilton Rolling Pin
Wilton web/CC store: $19.99 US = ~$23 CND
Michaels: $29.95
Golda's: $29.25
Bulk Barn: $24.95

8" x 2" Performance cake pan:
Wilton: $7.49 US = ~$8.84 CND
Michaels: $11.99
Golda's: $11.00
Bulk Barn: $10.69

Now Golda's charges $7.00 plus $0.50/kg or $0.23/lb shipping in Canada. Obviously, there's the online convenience that you pay for vs having to find and get to a Bulk Barn or Michaels.
