Hello! I'm very new to cake decorating and I'm wondering where I can find cake boards. I've checked Ebay and I know I can buy them individually at Michael's but I'm looking to buy a few at least and I'm wondering where I can get the best deal on the right quantity. Any assistance is appreciated.

I don't know where you can find them online. I get mine at the cake store, but you can certainly make your own. All you need is a compass and a utility knife for the rounds. Depending on where you get the boxes though, you may want to cover the boards.

I get boxes from the stores and cut them to the sizes that I need, then cover with decorative paper and clear contact paper.

Saves me alot of money because it's the same type of material.

This is about as inexpensive as I've found them, and a box of 'em isn't all that big for storage purposes...
