Can anyone give me some tips on how-to make a cupcake cake?
Do they need to be leveled, how many are needed and so on?
THANKS!

position your cupcakes placed side by side and iced as if 1 cake. before you start icing Just add touch of icing on the bottom of the cupcakes and itnholds them in place. I like to use an icer tip to place the icing icon_biggrin.gif

Lydia I use a 50 mL coffee scoop when placing my batter in the cupcake liners. My cupcakes never that "cupcake/muffin hump" when I do this. The rise up just slightly above the liner. I never have to level them when I do this.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried using the first part of the upside-down frosting technique for a CCC? It seems to me that it would be the easiest way of ding it, but I've never done one so I'm not sure.

Lydia

I am so glad you asked that question! I was going to do that today in fact, just had not gotten around to it - too many interruptions!
