Has anyone ever put a MM fondant bow on top of a buttercream frosted cake? I'm wondering if the frosting will soften the bottom layer of the bow and make it lose it's shape or ruin it. I have a request for a bridal shower cake with fondant accents only and she wants a loopy bow on top.

What to do, what to do icon_cry.gif

Thanks for any insight you can provide.

With regular fondant as long as it is fully dry it is fine. I'm not sure about the MM fondant though. You could thank about a fondant plaque to place the bow on...
