Am I the only one that has such a sensitive nose that some of the cans of Crisco I have has a chemical smell to it and tastes bad? My husband says I am oversensitive and always says the icing tastes fine but in six years of decorating I have now had at least two cans of Crisco that smelled like it was full of chemicals.
Anyone else?
Than it isn't just me! I used the cake realse can with flour ,and I made a chocolate cake before. And when he cake came out of the pan it smelled horriibly of chemicals. When it was cool it smelled ok though.
I haven't. But the next time I bake a cake I will be thinking of you if I do smell something funny .
