Thanks to all the tips, ideas, and MMF recipe I got from here, I finally finished my first wedding cake this weekend! Of course I also had to do the catering also. Luckily, one of the bridesmaids made an appointment for all of the bridal party to get their hair done at a salon, because I was supposed to do that too. And the groom's sister came in at the last minute and did all of the decorating for me, since that was also on my to do list. 
Of course I was supposed to be there between 11:30 and 12:00, but because of a multitude of last minute problems, I didn't get there until 1:10. The wedding started at 2:00 and I still had to go a party store to try to find plates, because mine didn't come in. BTW, I'm still waiting on them to come, so I can send them back with a happy little note! 
But everything ended up going very smoothly and everyone was happy so I guess that's all that matters. I'll post pictures as soon as they get developed. I have a digital camera, but of course my usband didn't have the batteries charged and no one had any regular batteries I could use for a few minutes. Just my luck.
