Just finished 6 dozen halloween cupcakes with ribbon around them. Just let me day $2.00 or more a cupcake or the customer can put it on. The customer orginally ordered orange and black raffia. Couldn't find any black so was going to use orange only. You cannot tie raffia around a cupcake without mutilating the cupcake.
Customer showed me the magazine and says "See how pretty. It's so simple." HA! HA! Settled on narrow orange and black ribbon. Orange-ribboned cupcakes have chocolate frosting and balck-ribboned cupcakes have orange frosting. Well, I better get back to my halloween orders. Just a word of caution if anyone wants you to tie a simple ribbon around a cupcake.
