I have been using MM fondant and having really good luck, I even like the taste of it. Today when making a cake, I rolled it out and put it on top but noticed I didn't do a good job placing it so I took it off and re-started but had alot of BC icing on the fondant. I just kneaded it in and it was great and was so yummy. I had to make some more MM fondant and instead of greasing my hands with some shortening, I used some of my BC icing on my hands and it mixed in a wonderful flavor.

Questions about the MM fondant -

Is it very sticky to work with? Do you have a hard time molding it? Does it dry or stay sticky?

The reason I ask is because I went to my local cake supply place yesterday and was asking about making the large, multi-loop bows and the woman who works there told me that the MM fondant is very hard to work with and stays sticky without ever really drying like the Wilton fondant.

Has this been your experience?

I have made bows and loops with MM fondant but next time I would do like you would with other fondant and add gum tex/paste to make it easier to work with and hold up. When I make the MM fondant, I make it and then let it sit for about 1/2 - 1 hr before I use it because if it is too sticky, I add a small amount of icing sugar at a time but you really have to be carefull of not adding too much or it will dry too hard and crack. The MM fondant stays fairly soft and totally edible, I love to eat it on my cakes.
I have seen amazing results with people using the MM fondant so it can't be that hard to work with, it just takes practice.

Good luck, you'll love it. thumbs_up.gif
