I made one a while back, unfortunately I don't have any pics of it. What I did was to make the half sheet size pan, and the half sports ball pan. I frosted the top of the sheet cake to look like a backboard, laid the ball on it, and frosted it. Then I used the big round tip (12?) and iced lines over the ball to resemble the netting. with a wider strip at the middle of the ball, so it looked like the ball was going into the net. It came out really well, the girls on my daughter's team loved it.

I did the same one on a sheet cake and one on a round cake...first time doing either and will do them differently next time.

Can someone tell me where I can find lisa's step by step pictures for the basketball cake posted in her photos?

TIA
