I have read some where on here that u can paint fondent with clear vanilla extract and iceing colors if u can do this what is the ratio and what would be the ration be for color and the 80% or more alcohol?

I just mix mine until it have a nice creamy texture. If it is still to thick just add more extract.
Maybe someone else can be more clear on this, but this works for me.

do you use the iceing color for cake ?

I was taught to use clear vanilla to attach fondant pieces to each other.
As, far as paiting I just use staright color or mix with water. I will try clear vanilla today my daughter is making me make her a pumpkin cake.

I just mix it with with a very little water. Works ok for me.

Ok I did 1/4 tsp to a toothpick of color till i got the right shade
i tried the water and color it got a little soggy and I tried just useing the color by itself it worked really goot for red and black...also @ www.baking911.com u can find awesome tips on stuff..
