Was your icing too thin?? When decorating with certain tips, the icing must be a certain consistency.
Good luck!

It sounds like your icing was too thin. Visit Wilton website for icing recipes and consistencies. This will solve your problems!

What icing recipe do you use? I use the Wilton buttercream thats in the back of their yearbooks. It is half butter and half shortening and it also has meringue powder so it has stability. I does get a little soft after awhile, especially doing stars, from the heat of my hands. I just have to let it sit a few minutes and then start up again. I have never had it drip out of the bag before. I agree with everyone else that it could be too thin.
