Hi I have a recipe that states to poke hole and pour the crushed pinapple and juice ( large can)on the cake. I am making a cake that is topped with pudding and cream cheese mixed together and then strawberries and coconut . This is just for the family cake to see how it turns out. Do I just leave the cake in the pan after it is cooled off poke holes and just pour the crushed Pineapple and juice ?
Or do I take it out of the pan on a rack and the poke the holes and pour and try to put it back into the pan?I am serving it in it own cake pan.
I guess since there is so much in the can I am scared that if I pour it on the cake while it is inthe pan is the bottom going to be mush? Or if I pour ut over a rack will it fall to pieces when I try to put it back into the pan?
Hope that makes sense? Can anyone help me?

I would think you'd leave it in the pan .. the cake will become very heavy once you pour the pineapple on it .. taking it out of the pan and trying to put it back in more than likely will cause the cake to break icon_sad.gif good luck with your cake and let us know how it turns out! icon_smile.gif
