This is the best pan coating for baking cakes! I always make a double batch, and store it in the fridge in mason jars.
Pan Coating
Ingredients
- 1 cup Crisco
1 cup oil (canola or corn)
1 cup flour
Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl with beaters. Store in mason jars in fridge.
-
- To use: Use pastry brush to paint the cake pan with the coating.

Tried your pan coating. Love it. Cakes come out great with no sticking, and so easy to use. Thanks for sharing.

I use:
1 cup All Purpose flour
1 cup Crisco
1/2 cup vegetable oil
My cakes practically slide out of the pan. It’s amazing!
