I Love this whipping cream because it is not too sweet and it goes really good with the 3 leches cake, and it is good to make borders a decorations, it is a recipe that I got from a friend of mine with some variations.
Amazing Stabilized Whipping Cream
Ingredients
- 1 Pint heavy Wiping Cream
5 tbsp. Powder Sugar
4 tbsp. Piping gel
1 teaspoon Vanilla* or Aldmond* extract
Instructions
Combine whipping cream and sugar in mixing bowl. Whip to soft peak stage. Add piping gel and vanilla, then continue to whip stiff peaks. ” DO NOT OVERBEAT ”

Can the cake with this frosting sit out? Or does it have to be refrigerated?

How much would this make? I’d need to frost a cake to feel 30 people and have enough to decorate…also, does it “melt” if left out at room temp for any length of time?

I use a similar recipe but I use: 1 tub of cool whip, 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tbls meringue powder and 1-2 tsp peferred flavoring. I let it refrigerate for a bit before I use it. It does pretty well holding its shape and I received alot of commets on how good it tasted. It did set a room temp for quite a while and did just fine.
