i made a spice cake for a fair entry and needed a yummy filling. i thought cream cheese, but wanted more. so i added apple cider!

Apple Cider Cream Cheese Filling

Ingredients

  • 1 8oz. package cream cheese, softened
    1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    3 cups powdered sugar
    3-4 tablespoons apple cider

Instructions

    1. cream together cream cheese and butter until well blended.

  2. 3. add powdered sugar and whip until fluffy.
  3. 4. add cider and whip until well blended.
  4. 5. refrigerate for an hour to set up before filling cake.
