This recipe was requested through a comment made on one of my cake photos here in this site. It is easy to deal with and delicious.
Cream cheese cake
Ingredients
- 2 sticks of butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
6 eggs (separated)
8 oz cream cheese
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 tsp. baking powder
Instructions
Beat together butter and sugar. Add the egg yolks one at a time allowing them to mix well. Add the vanilla and then the flour alternating with the cheese. Start with flour and end with flour.

- Separately, beat the egg whites until they are stiff. Add them to the previous mix.

- Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

- To decorate use the “cream cheese crusting icing” (also posted)
