Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake

This recipe yields a giant cookie cake that tastes much like one you would but at a retail establishment. It’s extremely easy to make and you’ll be thrilled with the results. I recommend baking it in a pizza pan (if making to give to others, you can use a disposable pizza pan). Feel free to swap the flavor of the cake mix (for example, you would use a chocolate cake mix if you wanted a chocolate, chocolate chip cookie) and have fun with add-ins (Reeses pieces or peanut butter chips taste yummy in a chocolate, chocolate chip cookie . . . M&M’s are fun in a regular chocolate chip cookie . . . just be sure to decrease the amount of chocolate chips that you add if you are putting candy in as well.)

This really is an easy, delicious recipe. I used a yellow cake mix and some brown food color so that it looked like a giant chocolate chip cookie. You have made this an easy addition to add to my inventory of cake recipes!! Thanks so much.

I have made this more times than I can count. I usually start with a chocolate cake mix though and change mix-ins. This always gets favorable responses. Thanks for the recipe.
