Sugar Free Whipped Cream Frosting

Funny this is also the one I use after testing several more expensive recipes, I find this is the best ,you can also use sugar free coffee flavors .Kudos! Now if only I could find a tasty cake recipe.

I made this for my diabetic father-in-law. I was delicious. I did pipe some borders on the cake with this, it worked fine, I wouldn't try making any flowers with it, but I was very happy with this recipe and so was everyone else. I used Pillsbury sugar free yellow cake mix with this and everyone loved it.

Is the Heavy Cream ---- Heavy (Whipping) Cream?

i think this recipie called for heavy cream but not in tub in the dairy by the milk. thats what i used

I made this recipe for my diabetic parents and they both loved it. My husband enjoyed it as well and commented that I should use this on our cakes so that he can enjoy them with no guilt! It is very tasty and I highly recommend it. Can't wait to try other versions of it with different flavors of pudding!!

If you add an additional package of pudding & refrigerate it, it makes it stiff enough to make flowers and decorate with.

thanks so much for the recipe, I needed a sugar free frosting for my keylime cupcakes and found this, so I substituted sugar free lime gelatin (2 small boxes) for the pudding mix and it turned out fantastic. Will definately keep this in my recipe box for future flavors.

what do you mean by instant pudding? the powder that must be mixed whit milk to become pudding? i live in belgium and looking for a sugar free frosting for the cake i want to give my grand-parents, they are maried for 60 years! i do have that pudding powder but i dont know if i can find it in shops here in belgium sugar free...didnt see that yet

This was wonderful. I used it on a no sugar added carrot cake I made and it was delicious. I also used a chocolate pudding mix for a chocolate cake and it was amazing!

How does this hold up at room temperature. I have a good tasting recipe although expensive but it doesn't hold up at room temp at all. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I made this today using 2 boxes of pudding mix. I made the cake with a Triple Chocolate Cake mix, 1 can about a cup and a half of Diet Sprite and it IS SO good! The cake is to die for and the frosting - just made it irrestiable. My husband, who is NOT a diabetic-loved it! I sprinkled a few pecan slivers on top, just for looks and crunch.

Does this frosting crust at all or does it stay soft?
