Cheese Flan
By: CanIcakes101Posted by CanIcakes101
This is my families favorite dessert. I make it for almost every party I attend and I also paid my bills for a while selling these! I hope you enjoy it...Ingredients
- 1 8oz Cream Cheese 1 Can Condensed Milk 1 Cup of Water (I use the can from the condense milk) 6 eggs Caramel 3 cups of sugar 1/4 Cup of water
Instructions
In sauce pan put sugar and water heat till caramel consistency. Make sure you do not get the caramel on your skin, as it will burn you. Pour in pan 9 inch round pan. set aside. In mixer, pour Condensed milk, water, cream cheese and eggs. Liquefy until all mix and smooth. You should not see crumbs of cheese. Pour in glass or ceramic baking dish and Bake for 45 minutes in the water bath and check with a knife just to the side of the center. If knife comes out clean, it's ready. Remove and let cool. Let cool in refrigerator for 1 hour. Invert onto a large plate, the caramel sauce will flow over the custard. - Tres Leche
