Pros: None

Cons: Does not level cake

The wire bends easy and does not stay straight when cutting through a cake.  I would give it a rating of 0 if I could.

I have the small Wilton one that will do up to a 10 inch cake and my wire does stay straight and cuts the cake perfectly. Sounds like you need to take yours back to store and get a new one. However, the rubber tips on the bottom kept coming off which was not good. I had to get my husband to glue the rubber tips on bottom so they would stay on.
